I went to the Philadelphia Bead Show this year which was awesome as usual. There was such a huge selection it was overwhelming and I almost blew the budget at the Art Clay booth, but I came to my senses somehow and managed to stick to it.
I managed to squeeze out a quick jewelry project using some of the items I purchased. Necklace is made of ceramic ‘cornflakes’ in gold, turquoise, orange, and blue multicolor, strung on turquoise cord.
I always seem to gravitate toward the dresses and tops that have ruffles. They are fun, flirty and I just love them! The ruffles on it are exactly why this dress called to me. The magazine shows the dress as ankle length on the model, but sadly I do not have enough fabric to make that long. Let’s hope I still think it’s cute.
**ETA What was I thinking? I don’t have enough to make ANY dress with that fabric! A top/blouse it is, I guess.
